On Wednesday, March 27 (WORLD THEATRE DAY), at 11 a.m., the Ashe Auditorium at the James
L. Knight Center in downtown Miami will host the inauguration of “WORLD THEATRE DAY
MIAMI”, featuring the presentation of “The Tempest” by William Shakespeare, an adaptation for
children of this magnificent work. We hope to have the presence of the Mayor of Miami-Dade
County, Mrs. Daniella Levine Cava.
At 3:00 p.m. at the Goodlet Theatre in Hialeah, we will have the presentation of the play “La que
se va a Armar” by the PAFF group, where we invite residents of the Adult Day Care Centers of
the Community Action division of the city of Hialeah and the general public of Hialeah to a
family-friendly show.
At 7 p.m., we will have simultaneous presentations of 7 theatrical performances at different
venues in the county that identify with the Miami Theatre Route:

• Seminole Theatre (HOMESTEAD)
• Artefactus Theatre (KENDALL)
• Trail Theater (CORAL GABLES)
• Tower Theater (LITTLE HAVANA)
• The Our Found Theatre (WILTON MANORS)
  And we will conclude our celebration with a pedestrian scenic tour of four (4) downtown bars
  at 7 p.m., featuring a performative and sensory experience in the various establishments
  mentioned above. FRONT YARD THEATER and IMPROVISTO USA will participate, offering live
  comedy, improvisations, and monologues, followed by a meeting between artists, producers,
  government, and private entities.
